This past year I did 2 shoots for an upcoming book featuring the work of makeup artist Vanessa Athens. Here are some of the photos from those shoots. Some will appear in the book, some are outtakes

I've been on bed rest for over a month due to some serious back problems. Since this has put a major kink in my shooting schedule, I have turned to mining old shoots to have some creative output. Sometimes one or two photos jump out at me that I didn't notice the first time around, sometimes I redo a photo I've already used, but do something different in post, and sometimes I can pull a whole new series out of an old shoot. Here are some random photos form previous shoots. The following two posts are series also obtained from years past.

Kodak Duaflex 620

I shot these photos through the viewfinder of my Kodak Duaflex 620 camera from the 1950's. I picked it up a few years back at a swap meet for $5.
